There is no doubt about it... I am an idiot. The last couple of days I have really had time to sit down and think and let my mind wander. Especially with relating to my art, why I have this darn neck and shoulder issue that radiates right down to my hand... and of course where I want to go with it all.
With my art and where I saw it going, I put certain restrictions on myself. First big mistake! Then I only started doing stuff that I felt others expected me to do. I took on things I really didn't want to do but felt obliged to do. Age was another aspect. I felt that I was too old to be doing stuff I really wanted and liked doing.

I must apologize to everyone. I've been so quiet due to a whole stack of personal commitments and also still recovering after a shoulder/neck injury. I'm hoping to finally get back into my art very soon. Constant pain is a cruel beast, one of which...

Wow - it's been so long since I have gotten on here. It's been crazy lately with a new job and working odd hours and settling into a new sort of routine. I have the next four days off so hoping to get stuck into a new creation. Perhaps I need to set myself a creative challenge to help keep myself motivated. Today will be looking at trying to put some of my ideas on paper and see where it leads.
